Jordanīs official language is Arabic. But especially in the cities many people speak English because of their education in foreign countries. So many doctors speak English. But also other languages like French, German, Italian and Spanish are spoken.
The translation from Arabic into English isnīt always easy, because there are different ways of transliteration, so one word can be spelled differently. Most times the spoken word is easier to understand than the written one. The words and sentences are written from right to left.
